Wesley had some off-leash time in the creek recently.

Moe, our non-foster dog, doesn't even like to walk on wet grass. This looks like so much fun.

Here is our current batch of foster puppies. They are Jack Russel Terror Terrier and Beagle mixes.

Tim
This are some seriously cute puppies.

Here's my guys, it's 30º so the only way to get them enough exercise is to take them swimming. MY grandson Theo is visiting...

Love that last one. Nailed! Great series. But, 30°? I have to wait until sunset to go out, when it starts to get down to 40°C.

They do okay, as long as there's plenty to drink.

Well if you're ever coming down to the Visitors centre from Ottawa, stop in, we'll all go down to the swimming hole.
Honestly, if you ever are this way with your dogs and need a nice place to take them for a walk, let me know. We know how bad it is travelling with dogs, when you don't have places to get them a good walk or swim.

Its funny how its always the things you want/need that suddenly become comfortable!

Managed a rare, in focus, non blurred shot of my Russian blue, Boris today.

Tuna Tube

In loving memory of Tuna Tube T. He passed away from cancer tonight, a little after midnight. He was the coolest cat, I ever knew.

Just in case anyone missed him, we finally had to put Dreamer down. His level of discomfort and hip dysplasia just got to be too much. The old guy was in pain much of the times, but kept his sunny, cheerful, make the most of every opportunity disposition right until the end. That made it a really tough decision, weighing the two hours a day when he was a happy cheerful dog, against the 22 hours a day he was either asleep or in pain. The biggest part of the decision being the amount he's deteriorated in the last 3 weeks. He clearly had no hope to get better, has been on pain meds for so long it was getting hard to find anything effective to help him, and had sunk far below what you could call a comfortable life. What a gamer. No matter how bad he felt, he always got up for the bell, and made something of what he had left.

Really sorry, Norm (and Tess). It always looked like he had an exceptional life. J
