It is really endearing to see an adult dog "adopt" puppies.
Izzy is almost 9 moths old and is still a puppy herself. She has shown she can temper her ply energy to match the level and age of 3 different foster puppies so far.

Thanks Charlie! Sadly, the bluebonnets are fading fast....
Used to have them everywhere in the lawn and trees when I lived in the country....they were spectacular but as you say, they don't last long

My excuse for not cutting the lawn, she likes the long grass.

That puppy is a HOOT! I love a dog or cat that feels secure enough to roll on its back exposing its tummy. Both of our previous Shelties would, our current Sheltie & cat will not.

Problem with cats doing it, its often just a cunning trick.

I know that very well. My daughter's best friend had a cat named Ripple that would lie on its back and purr thunderously if you started gently stroking its tummy. Then after maybe 20~30 seconds it would attack your hand will all the fury a house cat can muster. Instead of having a happy fur-ball on your hand, suddenly your hand is inside an heavy iron pipe that lined with fish hooks.
