Not my dog, a sled-husky photographed in Alaska. Huskies aren't suitable as pets - nasty disposition as you can see by the way this beast has reacted to total strangers. Scan from a chrome.

Another husky from that Alaskan sled-dog demonstration place. All the dogs were exceptionally gentle and friendly, of necessity considering the number of tourists and their sometimes rambunctious, incautious kids. (scan)

A big yawn by my new cat (by marriage) Elliot. Ahhh, yes a new subject to take pictures of!! K70 with Tam90, f3.2, 1/20, ISO 16000. Not the ideal exposure in many many ways, but I liked it. Finished up the editing with Nik Silver Efex.

Another new family member...Juno. Much like the cat before, ISO is pretty high.

Another Husky from Alaska, looking alert because it, and all the other huskies in the kennel, knew some of them were shortly to be picked to put on a sled-pulling show, and they absolutely LOVE to run & pull. (scan)

Tralee during a walk last week. She had just jumped up on this rock and was happily expecting a treat for that trick (she got one). The image may look a bit soft or hazy because I took the camera from the basement, forgetting that the extremely humid air would immediately condense on the cool lens.

One last Husky from Alaska, like all the others looking hopefully to see if it will be selected to pull a wheeled sled.It is really heartwarming to see how much these dogs enjoy that "work." I think for them it's the equivalent of fetching a tennis ball for a lap-dog. (Scan)
