One of only two cats I ever could say owned me. Messy Bits latched onto me when I was staying with my granddaughter in Jacksonville. She slept with me, most nights, ate with me, when I had something she liked most, and messed about in my room, hence her name I gave her. the first week I was there.

We got some snow overnight and Frida is not pleased. Not sure if she has even seen snow before. With her big feet and thick coat, I'm sure she will be fine!

K-1 and DFA 28-105

This particular dog walk is 12,000 fitbit steps and Tess does it at least once a week. Today, I drove and met her to get 7,000 steps.

The dump road.

Abby's gravel pit.

Tia

Tripper Dawg

Misty

Longairy Lake, our destination.

Jesse

Abandoned logging roads are fantastic places to walk your dogs, and take pictures.

Snuffling about.

Learning to Swim
K-1 mII & A*200/4 Macro and 1.4x-L

Kawai learned to swim this weekend. He's still iffy about it, but practice makes perfect so they say.

So now you have a cat that is trained to pose.

Our dog Kenzie (who looked quite bit like Kawai) no longer with us also had to learn to swim. We started her off on really big 2 inch puddle. Once she figured it out. For our dogs, swimming at the lakes probably their favourite part of the walk.

Kenzie in her heyday.

Well I don't know about trained, but she can be somewhat predictable so I try to anticipate her movements. Maybe she will learn the routine from her sister who she seems like to imitate.

Nice photo.

I had an office-mate once who worried about allowing the temperature in her home sag during the day .... because of her cat. Her vet said simply "He has fur".
