I think I finally figured out "the right way" to handle film scans. This looks a ton better than most of my other scans even though it was done in lower res.

Thank you. Although, Colvin is no stranger to this thread, he makes an appearance every now and then. Mattb123 is a lot more dedicated to bringing his (Pentax) SLRs out with him -seemingly everywhere, whereas I shoot with a bunch of different camera formats and brands and I usually try to keep the post here to Pentax. I don't tend to lug my DSLR with me unless I have specific photography objectives in mind. My long in the tooth Samsung EX1 has probably captured the bulk of Colvin (in RAW) over the years.
