That was the framing I wanted. I told her to move into the frame, she wouldn't listen. You don't get much to shoot in the winter, I seriously wanted those Beech trees for my background.

K-1 and DA*55 1.4.

Wonder how much snow we have? My dogs are standing on 18 inches of packed snow. (500mm) There's another 4 feet on top of that fallen tree. We have lots. I'm getting serious about keeping this whole image in focus. ƒ8 and be there, and all that jazz.

Lots of snow sticking around this year. Farmers are going to be off to a good start for groundwater . The 55 looks like a great lens on ff norm (I am sure the new monster one is as well , but given the size and weight not much fun to lug around)

It's been so long since I shot a 50 or 55 on a regular basis, it's like finding an old friend you haven't seen for years. Yesterday there were 4 lenses in the bag and I never took the 55 off the camera. It creates opportunities.

it is a great FL, though for me in ff terms I'm a sucker for 35mm (23 on my Fuji...I have both 23mm lenses and an X100T)
that said 12mm f2 here . Luna desperate for some Kitty Crack (aka temptations)
