We went different way. The heavy snows filled in most of our trails, I found them impassable. But I still managed to go a way I haven't been for a while.

Yesterday

Today

The bottom end of the old school road, before the hydro cut takes us back to our yard.

I don't know why people need tracking, AF.s works pretty darn good.

On the Snowmobile track.

Still AF.s, it's still snowing here.

I stepped off the trail and sunk 3 feet into the snow. Tripper waiting for me to get out. It took a while.

We had two days without snow shoots, we've been back into them for at least three. With snow like this its been warm and it's not as strong. The snow shoes just dive into it if you step off the path. And we can't use our large snowshoes with more float because the path is too narrow for them. Breaking trail in the 3 feet of snow left on the ground, you don't get anywhere fast. Every step is a major undertaking.
