It's a lovely doggy, but erm ... haven't I seen this picture before somewhere today?

I wish I would have hit the focus with this one. I missed on the eye's slightly.

Haha, I think it's still a wonderful shot! You caught a great moment there.

One of our wonderful (late) threesome. This is our Lex, a stray from Greece, who was with us for 10 years (+/- 3yrs old when he came). We had to let him go in 2015. If he'd been a human, I'd describe him as a trusting, sweet soul. We still miss him.
A beautiful photo of him!! It’s heartbreaking when they leave us.

Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, it is truly heartbreaking. We had 3 dogs, all adopted strays, in more or less the same age range, which was great when they were younger and endlessly running around, never tiring. The downside is that you lose 'em all in a relatively short period of time as well - ours died between 2013 and 2018. (

Just picked up a SMC-F 50mm f1.7 and was testing it out on the pets. Always my willing subjects!

Ooow, a lab? We had one - to be honest my favorite dogs, so sweet, happy, playful, full of life, and so loyal to their 'owners'. Loved ours to bits. ♥

Lovely pictures!

Bet you'll soon don't want to be without that lens anymore! Very nice shots, both of them.

Lovely pictures!

thank you - Stormy is a mutt, however, and is probably more hound than lab... she's a rescue, so we never did know her lineage...
