I thought sure she would shift her paws before I got out a camera and caught that almost prayer-like pose. She's not the most interesting cat I've had as a pet. Blackie was very smart, did things I've never heard of another cat doing, and Laura was quite smart and full of personality right into her last year.

We've bought the dogs fleeces. I know, I know... but they're from a company whom makes equestrian ones, and they've branched out into the dog world. They're fantastic for keeping the dogs dry (especially Mabel, in the light pink above) whose fur is particularly sponge-like, dense, and takes an age to dry.

The second picture had me and the other half in stitches. Daisy is not a fan of water, often tentative around rock-pools, will often not go out in the rain. We had a very pleasant surprise when she went to retrieve her ball and submerged her entire face to go and fetch it!

Whatever made you think of that name?

We had two cats, siblings, of much the same color and hairstyle. We noted that they came from a long line of barn cats, evolved to blend in with the dust. We used to joke that the female - Mycelium (AKA "Moldy") - wasn't really a cat, just a lot of hair that all came down to a knot somewhere in the middle.
