The cold shoulder

There is a pack of dogs that whenever a car approaches they put themselves in a "hunting" position beside the road and when the car has just passed they launch into chase.
There I am, every weekdays playing with the feelings of those canines: sometimes I slow down as soon as the hunt begins and sometimes I speed up.
Yesterday I saw them unusually still, basking in the morning sun without reacting to traffic.

I stopped, prepared the camera and drive in reverse just to take some photos through the window... until they reacted with a chase
