Old friends here may recall that we had to say goodbye to our dog Princess back in 2019. We decided that in our situation, it didn't make sense to try to replace her but, in the Covid context, our daughter has moved back home and adopted a Great Pyrenees/ German Shepherd puppy. Here's Magnolia (50+lbs @ 6mos).

And very puppy!

And a French bulldog. We're all dressed up today!
Gorgeous! Both the dogs and the colours/rendering.

She looks like a handful! Those semi-floppy ears are too precious.

Thank you! Cool dogs and my favorite quirky lens came together well yesterday.

One more, which I also posted in the "Soviet lenses" thread. Poodles somehow always look like they're posing.

Right on both counts. The ears really are interesting with complex folds and quite a variety of shapes, depending on her mood.

Bandit DA* 55mm f1.4

I take this lens out once in awhile to wake up the auto focus motor. I took on one of our daily trips to Champions Park.

I hope to get a mirrorless small format very soon to shoot with my mom's lens.

Annabelle taking life easy. Dahlia going too fast for the shutter speed even with panning (which was too fast for the background). BTW: The spot above Annie's eye is a skin tag.

Our latest rescue

This is Boo, rescued after an encounter with my former boss's Rottweilers. Fortunately the injury was minor. She has moved in and taken over the place, much to the consternation of the other resident cats. Spoiled little diva, she even brings her toys to bed!
