Per my NYE resolution to practice more with flash I got out the radio triggers and couple flash units and stands and with my treat pouch on my belt I induced Bandit to pose for me.

When it shifts and perhaps cracks across the entire width of the pond, the deep sound generated is amplified by the ice sheet acting like a drum head. It might be called "unearthly," but it is as earthly as sound gets, just a bit unfamiliar, mysterious, and a little intimidating for humans, and wary Luna dogs.

The variety of sounds is pretty neat too. Sometimes crackly, sometimes like a whale song or even a Star Wars blaster.
It's weird at first but I love it.
