One of Daisy, been too long since I took a decent picture of her (in my unprofessional opinion).
Edited in Lightroom for a little contrast, B&W treatment and the obvious 'low key' effect.
Mamiya/Sekor 55mm f/1.4.

One reason I'm so fond of cats generally, is that each one is so different in personality, that they're always interesting and surprising. Often comical. Extending the idea expressed by a character in, "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court", cats could replace governments - they're just as vain and silly and apt to fight for no good reason, and will work a whole lot cheaper.

Stopping in to see everyone's pets is always a good choice.

I do miss seeing Howard on a regular basis. You never get your moneys' worth out of them big dogs, they wear out too quickly.

Bandit wasn’t comfortable sharing his spot with props.

More Bandit portraits taken with a slightly modified set up.

The problem with photographing Maggie (as with many on my side of the family) is that, if you're shooting at wide apertures and have the eyes in focus, the nose gets all blurry.

On the other hand, as her ears have matured, I've come to appreciate how apt her given name, Magnolia, really is.
