Meet the newest addition to the family - AKC "Prairiewyn Spring Cyclone", or what we're calling him, "Taz"... So far (since Saturday), the name seems quite fitting! He's joining our 3-yr old rescue Golden, Kandy, in the household. And boy is he keeping us busy!

8 weeks old come Thursday. Comes from a really good bloodline with lots of champions, so we're hoping for a nice intelligent dog to emerge from those crazy days of puppyhood....

Or, he might turn out like Kandy, and never leave the crazy part behind!

All pics with K100D and 18-55 kit Mk 1

Yes he is, and the durn little critter is well aware of it... Of course, that is nature's way of making sure they survive the housebreaking stage

Banjo

Our 10 year old Border Collie, Banjo. I don't think he wanted his picture taken.

Gus

This isn't a great photo but I like it as he looks happy, Gus is a rescue dog we fostered for a few days until somewhere more suitable could be found. Unfortunately for him he's already had 2 homes (he's only 2 years old) that have mistreated him and kept him locked up so he's not used to being outside

The last owners brought him to be put to sleep because he was too scared to go outside Fortunately for Gus my lovely girlfriend was the vet in that day and she saved him. Gus is now doing well with his counselling sessions at the greyhound rescue centre and is a lot more confident than he was a few weeks back. They think they have a suitable home for him and he will be going there in a few weeks time. Fingers crossed it's third time lucky

Ollie - taken with a 4MP Pentax Optio 43WR on auto with the focal length equiv. in 35mm = 70mm. The built-in flash fired and the camera selected 1/100 sec and F3.5. No adjustment in PS whatsoever. Pretty good pic for an 'obsolete' point & shoot camera imo!

I'm the king of getting only one eye in focus...

woodworm, I think that's an excellent photo of Gus; maybe not critically focused as he came past that point, but showing a lot of emotion and happiness. Your story about his mistreatment and brush with death comes as quite a surprise and in stark contrast to the 'joy' that photo emotes to me at least. If we didn't already have a full house to us with 1 1/2 of them problem children, I'd love to have'm!

Haven't posted in a while. Figured I'd give this thread a bump. Our outdoor cat Weber, and the 2 indoor cats Misty and Mojo.
