A nice view and a very effective Brenizer shot.

Thanks. We had really good weather on 1st. I had already taken the shots for Single In Challenge, but had stop to shoot again on the way back home as it was so pleasant here.

I imagine that the DFA* 85/1.4 is pretty much as close to perfect as you can get for Brenizers.

Indeed. Focal length is in best sector and it's very sharp wide open with smooth bokeh.

I gave this a go on Sunday after a friend mentioned it to me. I used my K1 and old m42 50 f1.4 @ f2, and it's just 4 shots.

This one was 3 rows of 7 shots, handheld, with the same camera and lens.

I might have done this before without knowing it...
I am subscribing to the thread to learn and remind me of trying this method asap. (free bump)

I had troubles finding this thread as it had fallen so far in the list. Well, I haven't posted here either for a long time, but today made a shot with DFA*85 that I wanted to share here.

EDIT: Capture one panorama stitching seems to handle well also these multirow pictures. No need for MS ICE anymore.

I've been thinking recently I need to do some more Brenizers as I haven't done any for ages. Need time and suitable subjects.

I often end up doing them when I walk around with tele prime and stumble onto something too wide to catch with a single shot. Thought there are days when I just get trigger happy and keep on shooting Brenizers. Like on this snowy November day when I took these. I think I took at least four more, but these were the best ones I kept:
