Street Music and Musicians - post yours!

There is this famous thread started by Javier aka jgredline "Capture a Stranger Street Style", for all kinds of street shots with people. Of course, there is place for photos of street musicians in that thread, but I would like to have a collection of photos of street musicians in one thread, just to enjoy. What do you think? I guess it's a beloved subject for many of us photogs, even when you don't do much street shooting..... Digital, film, cell phone, P&S, (d)SLR, MF or even Large Format, everything is welcome!

I will start with some of my own collection....

I'm a musician too, but only have very few of the many pictures that have been taken in 40 years onstage. Unfortunately, no street musicians around here so I won't be able to add anything but a comment...

I'll bet niether of you don't have the experience that I went through with my family, nearly all of whom are more than merely competent photographers that showed up to my University Honours graduation concert armed to the teeth with Leica M cameras. i'm the only classically trained musician in my family (I play the flute and Oboe).

I'm fairly sure this isn't a street musician, but ... the picture shows him out in the open, so I thought I'd post it anyway.

Great idea for a thread Rense! These may have been posted elsewhere in the forum, but since this is a collection.. All these from a trip to Nashville in April.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, many of the pictures taken of me performing were as a street musician in Austin years ago. Unfortunately I only got one shot, from a Polaroid...no telling where the other dozens went...people took pictures of us almost every weekend for 4 years. We never got any except the one Polaroid shot and I managed to keep it.

and this one, taken today,

Both taken using a K-5 and DA 40mm f2.8 (my usual walkabout lens).
