Yeah that hawkmoth is excellent. I'm still trying to work out how you did it.

A quick spider hanging upside down from the w/e, yeesh what an utter pain it was to get this shot handheld windy weather

He was absolutely tiny, 3 mm or so at most. Amazing orange head and *1* red eye

Nice bugs I'm seeing here lately.
I have one I don't know the name of, it was in our extra bathroom which is situated outside our main house (no not an outhouse) but full working modern terlit.
Its a wheel bug

I used to have two giant millipedes as pets when i was a little kid I'll have to try and source one of the pictures of me holding it when I was like 10

Yetzee-fantastic frontal pic-looks a bit like something out of a movie.

Some 10x (10:1) Nikon objective fun

70 image stack of a female Pogonortalis Doclea's Ovipositor. I was planning on feeding it to one of my spiders when it randomly died with what looked like a "stinger" popping out. I decided it was a perfect subject for the objective and it turned out I was right Here's some other images I've taken in the past of the same type of fly:

Its definitely a whole new learning experience using that objective. Still working out the kinks for sure

Cross post from the 'post your photos' section. Can anyone confirm this is a young katydid?
