starting an album on flickr using a new to me sigma 28-80 1:2 lens with close up filters.....been enjoying it very much!

Aaron, you need to post the photos not post a link. Post a photo then point people to your flickr, but do not do it this way.

That does not look like a "horse fly." It looks like what is commonly called a "bee fly" (family Bombyliidae)

I disturbed two green butterflies sitting on top of a purple flower. The one on top gave me a look

Looks like a Fruit Fly to me, but that's as far as I can venture... Great shots (as usual)!
