Cool ones, Noel.

I found a Leaf Notcher on the Hibiscus bush this morning and the only shot I got was this one before he/she moved out of range of the lens.

Quite the mismatch in size. I thought the one was a tail at first. Vert cool.

If you look closely at the brownish patch on the gills you can see numerous tiny little orange-red eyed flies. That particular fly seems to gather on this particular kind of mushroom when it start to rot.

More Dragons

I haven't seen any dragons this year except in the evenings when they're flying through our carport while we're enjoying the evening breezes.

That sound like the life to have! There I go trundling through Kloofendal Nature Reserve to get them on camera. No, if only they would come to my place, that would be cool! Only once in 7 years have I seen one here! Indoors it was too!

Have a few strange ones.
This ball ran around in the fashion of an ant. Probably 6mms diameter.

this leaf foot hasn't left his pepper in 2 days now.

still can't identify this despite its markings.

And assassins, one with a fly and one that pities the fool who lands in front of him.

Got a Shield Bug on Monday-reluctant to pose for me.

So I put it on a stick

But it went back to its stony existence

Another couple of Paper Wasps, these were building a new nest in the backyard on a another lily plant.
