A recent visit to a butterfly sanctuary - a bit disappointing with many of the insects having lots of wing damage. This one looked good though.

Ladybug beetle and the moth. Th latter is probably a male judging from the extremely feathery antennae visible at the lower right just in front of its eye.

Thanks for the compliments and really glad yoy ike the image. The fly was cooperative, it just stood absolutely still while I got closer for the shot. You'd think it was wearing one of those head clamps from the wet-plate era.

Amazing photos in here! First time posting one of my insect photos. K-S2 and Pentax-M 50 macro. Captured in 2020 after I picked up my photography hobby again during the shutdown. Handheld

Edited to correct lens used.
