Thanks. There are several type of wasps around here that have that eye shape. Most of them hang around flowers and plants. They are quite different from the paper wasp that build nests around the outside of buildings.

Yes he was very photogenic was cold out today so he was not moving real fast made it easy to get good shots.

Very nice, and impressive for a non-macro zoom lens.
Thank you It may not be a macro, but it is very sharp so this is about a 50% cut but it works lol

Westmill, good try on the damselfly.

Hangman, Love the last one, catching it with wings spread is hard to do with these insects. Nicely done!
