Thanks Paul. This lens has a Macro setting, though not true macro, it gets me closer to my subjects and is pretty sharp at 300mm than if the macro setting was turned off.

This I believe is a Mopani Worm which is harvested and eated in large numbers by some indigenous people here in SA. Apparently it is a good source of protein.

Paulh - Your yellow flower is a Yellow Wood Sorrel. Was it you that posted that in Tiny Flowers too? Can't remember...Someone did, adn it seems it was the same picture but I'm not sure...yeah I have CRS...

Here's one I shot last night for Single in April: Not as close as I would have like to have gotten but it's the closest I could get standing on a box.
