There are some very impressive shots in this thread. Very inspiring.

Decided to play with the Ext. tubes today was windy these were the best I could do under the circumstances

Tim, it's been windy here also. You did real good for windy conditions. What is that first one? I see a lot of those around here, I'm assuming it has something to do with ladybug larva.

It is the next stage after the Larva I think they are all over around here also

A weevil, though exactly which one I do not know. Beautiful shot. good title too.

someone has just identified it for me that it is an "elephant weevil" or Orthorhinus cylindrirostris. thanks!

Some type of beetle...............looks like it's trying to lift that seedpod.
