Young insects anyway - these are three types of caterpillars all uncropped using my new snoot - had fun today...





This one is a sad one as a couple of days ago I noticed the small caterpillar but today it had been infected by a fungus or something and was but a husk of its former self... Yuk life in the tropics:

scary scary! For me, but not as bad as the spider 2 minutes later. That one I was shaking so bad I couldn't take a photo

Wow, so many nice photos of insects in this thread! Perfect focus and DoF, vibrant colours, lots of detail, interesting and exotic bugs..! I feel ashamed of all my misfocused, blurry, boring European insects

Some nice insect shots lately. TFS and keeping my thread/theme alive. I got my reverse ring in finally and tested it last week. Looks like I either need to add some tubes or the Raynox, because the magnification isn't all that.
