A couple of flies using the D-FA 100mm plus Raynox DCR-250. Second one is a Yellow Soldier Fly - a species that is apparently not uncommon, but that I'd never seen before. (It's also larger than the Green Bottle Fly in the other shot.)

Nice ones Doundounba. I don't believe I've seen a Yellow Soldier fly before.

That beetle is a fine capture, weevil, better than the pair below.

Nymph (juvenile) of some kind of assassin/stink bug (bug = a so-called "true bug," member of the Heteroptera, AKA Hemiptera). The feeding stylet tucked underneath eventually into a socket is one distinguishing feature, although as the technical names imply, the wing structure is especially defining.

This is another heteropteran, much smaller than the one posted by Hangman even though it is an adult. The feeding stylet is lowered slightly so it's easily seen. This one with it's wider, shield-shaped body probably feeds on plant juices. The one pictureD by Hangman is probably a predator.

A butterfly (reposted from the K-3 Sample Shots thread), a grasshopper instar, and, if I may say so myself, one of my best damselfly shots - a four-shot handheld focus stack at about 2:1 with just a great angle and a fantastic subject.

I've been mostly offline for the last year or so. Haven't been taking as many photos during that time (flying drones in most of my free time) Anyway I'm getting back on here and this Pokemon thing is everywhere! I saw a couple Pokemon at the park locked in a death struggle! The one with 8 legs won this fight, and was enjoying it's prize.
