. Can't contribute much to this thread at the moment, temp outside this morning was about 9F (~ -13C). Except for things living in the cellar, and mostly what I see are a few spiders, there are essentially no active arthropods in the area.

You bet! And as for being glad that you are bigger than it-that's a myth

. One of those creatures that cause you to throw out all logic and reason, and I occasionally suffer from that, especially when it crawls over my toes under the table

. There are members of my congregation that reacts in one of 2 ways when they come across this critter. Get up on the highest spot in the area, basically any chair or cupboard :lol. Or run out of the house

And some will not even look at a picture of the thing, for fear of it jumping off the screen

Well, I'm glad I started this thread then. Future is good. Children need to know what insects were around when we are all dead and gone, eh.

I've had macro tubes for a few years, they are fun. Near end of summer this past ( 2018 ) and old friend of my dad's gave me some Nikon lenses. Straight to Ebay for an adapter later lol. One of them is a near mint 90mm macro.

First time using an actual macro lens was a learning afternoon, that's for sure
