Got myself into a bit of a post-processing backlog situation, as I've barely had time to shoot and no time to process in the last couple of weeks. Some really nice shots posted upthread while I was away!

Just managed to start processing again yesterday, so here are my two latest posted shots:

Great environmental portrait. It really has the world to see.
Queen did "Spread Your Wings", I thought that was your reference.

I particularly like #4 of bee-ish thing on day lily.

Looks like a Lassioglossum (dilactus) bee to me. Impossible to tell species without a microscope, apparently.

Just got my DA* 55mm f/1.4 back from Precision (SDM failure) and took it out today with a KP to test autofocus. I think it works.

Milkweed beetle short stack (three image files} and a tiny (~2mm) rather bizarre little insect (nymph?) that refused to face me.

My speckled bush crickets have grown up - the males, at least - this one moving off the lemon balm and onto a rose.
