Nice ones, Tom & WG. This is a repost of one of my Nash Farm shots from last spring.
Thanks Paul, why are old tractors so photogenic? Good job

@ramseybuckeye Nice ones, Tom. Really like the last one. Fantastic light. Speaks of Midwestern farmland in the winter.
@paulh, great selective focus on an old tractor.
Thanks Jools, one of those lucky light moments.
Great skys behind that sign, looks like a nice little farming valley.

Agreed. BTW on your B/W vs. color dilema, color all the way in my oppinion. THere's just something about a deep blue sky, that a B/W picture can't achieve :P

Thanks, Tom & Jools. Old tractors are cool, what can I say? I'll have to stop over there again & see if I can grab a few more shots. There's changes going on there at the moment, they've rearranged the tractors and are relocating a couple old buildings to the farm.

ok.... haven't been on here for a while. time to spew out some aggie shots...

the picture below - the water in that lake is seasonal. i.e. it tends to dry up fairly quickly. the spread of said lake gives you an idea of how much rain we've had in the last fortnight or so.

This is down in the village. The farmer had limed his fields maybe 5 days before.

Smart enough to do it before the rains, but not sure he was really wanting mini streams throughout.

all taken handheld, many of them drivebys, on the kx, tamron 35-80 01a. click on images for exif data

This is becoming a very nice collection of images from the heart of our respective countries.
Not that far from the house but world's away. North Park. Bet I saw three cars in 40 miles.

Nice ones, Bruce - love the big skies out there.

Here's a few more from Nash Farm. It's a suburban farm in the middle of town, surrounded by homes over the years. It serves as a park, & recreational center these days.

1860's farmhouse under restoration

view across the small field, where they grow cotton & pumpkins, among other things...

B&W was a great choice for these, well done.

These were taken at the Aull Farm and Nature Center near Dayton:
