I think this farm that I drive by regularly is owned by the town and offers community garden plots to any who want a place to put down roots.

Glad you found the image interesting. Here's another taken just a little earlier along that road in Italy, The tint in vehicle windows imparts a color cast that I've never been able to remove to my full satisfaction, I used a different PP sequence on this file, so the colors won't match those in my previous post just above.

I think this field is still cut for the hay, but the land may now be owned by the town as part of natural area preservation.
