Game Single in December 2011

It's that time again a new month starts tomorrow and so does a new Single in challenge.

Everyone is welcome, veterans and newbies alike.

The basic idea of the December challenge is

Take a picture a day
Upload the picture to a "Single in December 2011" album in your album space on the forums or you can use Flickr (Single Challenge link) or other hosting service
Post the picture to the daily thread here.
Comment on other member's pictures. All comments will be warmly received from the basic "I like it" to "Well, I think you have quite successfully applied the Rule of Thirds to the composition of this shot"

You can freely select any lens or lenses to use this month. However, please include the lens details when you are posting your pictures.

If you are unsure how to post pictures please ask in this thread or check the threads from previous months.

It has also been suggested that this month's pictures maybe of a slightly Christmasy theme but this is entirely optional.

I am sure this is all as clear as mud!

Whoa! Lens or lenses. it makes it even harder to choose...but I have been struggling between S.tak 35/3.5 or Helios 44 M. So It could kind a settle that one

I've already stated I'm going to be using a different lens with no repeats each day of December. Going to my lens drawer tomorrow, cover my eyes, and pull out the first victim.

certainly easier if i can use any lens
now i can be as fickle as I like

I'm ready to pick up the reins again and looking forward to it. I like the increased flexibility but now to choose a theme .......

That depends on what you call single

I think you're free to use a single lens if you wish.

At this point I'm struggling to get a photo per day but since I just spent good money on Topaz Adjust 5, I'll give it a shot. Still no lame excuses but no promises either

Since my brand spanking new K5 arrived the other day, I know I'm going to be shooting a lot so I'm in. It's been a while since I joined in. This weekend is going to be busy and I'll likely be a little late posting. Any lens? I might add a twist and shoot with a different lens every day. I think this challenge has had the opposite effect of it's original intent, curing LBA. Since the first Single in September, my lens collection has more than doubled.

i have shots (nothing stellar but a start) yesterday from my lentar 21 3.8 and Tak 50 1.4
I'll get to a computer tonight (and hopefully manage something today as well

)

Nice start everyone. I kind of like this choose a lens idea, i've been pulling out a couple i barely use
it's so far m42 month for me
smc super tak 50 1.4
smc super tak 55 1.8
rokunar 135 3.5
industar 50-2 3.5

and i've been carrying but haven't posted from
Lentar 21 f 3.8

So far it's been all primes for me this month. I can make it about 2/3's of the way through the month on just primes then it's zoom land after that.
