I think I am just confused on what happened when I tried to download the PEF. I will try again and I remember how to convert it now as well. Thanks!

Here's my entry, an attempt to highlight the still vs moving elements of the image.

The submissions to-date are fantastic and many are quite unique, a sign of a great working image. I could not do better than what is already here, but it's so much fun I couldn't resist trying. I use Aperture for my post processing. Thanks for the challenge.

I wanted to turn it into an abstract and liked the flow of the water out from the lower "falls." So, I went with a 100% crop, and then adjusted the levels/curves/ and saturation to give it the feel of a 16th century oil painting, though they didn't really do abstract work back then. Here's what I came up with:

I think you're being a bit modest there tessfully. In my opinion, your entry is a great classic treatment of the image. Ultimately, baro-nite will judge and pick between the more classic vs "unique" approaches.

And I'll have my work cut out for me, picking a winner from all these wonderful submissions. Keep 'em coming!

not modest kyc, there are seriously great entries here, wishing mine was less traditional, and I would not want to be baro-nite
