Single in February 2012

Yes it's a new month and a new lens choice!

Everyone is welcome, veterans and newbies alike.

The basic idea of the challenge is

Take a picture a day
Upload the picture to a "Single in February 2012" album in your album space on the forums or you can use Flickr (Single Challenge link) or other hosting service
Post the picture to the daily thread here.
Comment on other member's pictures. All comments will be warmly received from the basic "I like it" to "Well, I think you channelled Ansel Adams wonderfully!"

EASY!

You can freely select any single lens to use for the whole month. However, please include the lens details when you are posting your pictures.

If you are unsure how to post pictures please ask in this thread or check the threads from previous months.

There is no fixed theme for this month, but we the group may be open to theme and inspiration suggestions

I'm signing up for February. Intending to use FA 31mm.
And, many, many thanks to everyone who commented on my January images; it really is appreciated. Some days I was lacking "artistic" inspiration but I sure got to know a lot about my D-FA 100 Macro.

Go on then, I'll bite with the 18-55 WR kit lens, that's gonna make for quite a challenge. Not used it for ages.

Unless I have an actual job to do obviously.

I'll be in it too, choice of lens depends on when the airline finds my baggage and how quick they get it to me.

I have watched this game with interest and delight over the last couple of months. I would like to participate in February's thread. It is a toss up on what lens to use... I am thinking of the Pentax 18 - 135 as it is the lens that gives me the most trouble, yet by all accounts it should take a great photo. Looking forward to the sharing this month!

Thanks for starting the thread Pat. Nice to see some new faces along for the ride. My lens of choice is the Tamron 90, quite a shift from the wider DA 21 of this past month. I used it last year just after I got it but don't feel I have really made good use of it since. However, still one day of January left on this end of the globe!

Last month I explored B&W (mostly) but this month I think I want to just go with what ever comes to mind :-)

Yep, I am putting my hand up again. Congratulations to all the great albums put together in January, well done, each and every one.

A warm welcome to the new starters, great to have you join us. Main object of the exercise is to enjoy the shooting and enjoy the sociable atmosphere. All very friendly and lighthearted.

Oh. and I will give the DA35mm a run this month, it hasn't been out of the bag for quite some time.

Perhaps it's time I did a single challenge. I'll pick the DA15 since it is brand new and I have a lot of activities planned where it will be perfect.

Great to see some new folks joining. We also made the PF Facebook page. Not sure of my lens this month but I have the FA28 and the DA*200mm in my bag today.

Not sure yet, but probably, just don't know which lens. Was thinking the Samyang, but I'll have to think on that too. That lens is a bit too much for things I shoot.
