Will try another one this month.

Wow nice Ken!

Same thing for me, but only for the last ones: March 21st and April 7th... (18 days)
Seems to be harder to get selected in the last few months..
But I used to have two of the same set on the same day... that happened twice in 2017!
I cannot explain those double selections...

The rules must have changed recently....I think I used to read that it used to be 10 days or so before...

Mine was at May 2012, total I've 39 images explored on that month, and several days with >1 image explored, highest record was 3 images on a single day.
There's one even ridiculous, I aimed at the bird but flew off when I triggered the shutter button, ended up only captured some leaves with shallow depth of field and it got explored, really don't understand the logic

The 39 images during May 2012, the one at 3 June is the one I don't understand what's the reason to get explored?

Super-Takumar-Zoom 70-150mm 1:4.5 got it's debut in explore:

It's bokeh has very little detail and hard edges seem to be absent.

I think this is 16 days again, and not my best picture of the day, but I think I uploaded the better ones the previous day.

Latest Explore, this with my Super-Takumar 150mm f4 taken at f8 on my KP. This Tak's MFD of 180cm is the same as my height, so the KP's flip-out screen became the enabler; camera held out a bit above my eye height, pointed straight down, with me looking at the extended screen, moving the kit up/down gently, guided by focus peaking.

I found it eye catching in my feed. Deserving explore.

Thanks Matt, not one I expected. So frustrating when "better" but presumably "less interesting" images are selected. OTOH this SuperTak has performed well on another outing. Hard to nail focus, but razor sharp when I get it right. These old lenses bring a lot of pleasure.

After reading ramseybuckeye's 16 days for next Flickr Explore, I've reserved 3 images (which I think have chance of getting Explore) and uploaded 1 of them yesterday and true enough it got explored today, all the while I thought got to wait for 18 days for another chance of getting explored.

I think I've missed - I'm off the cycle - today should have been a hit for me. The ride is over

That was 6 x 18 days in a row since January 2nd.
