Plenty, if the market knows anything. It's really striking Matt.

I'd say 9 out of 10 people would have composed/cropped this shot with the kitesurfer more centrally positioned. The way you did it was brilliant, with attention drawn to the spray, sense of motion and the image "reading" from left to right.

As with a lot of the images here, with these two: look and learn.
thanks Des!
it's always taking me some time to figure out the best placement or composition, cropping etc. before i publish a photo. this one was indeed slighly cropped to place the kite surfer a little more to the right side, not only to put the focus on the splashing water (i published that one actually for this month's contest ), but also to show / feel the speed of the subject. i also chose a wider aspect ratio because of that, but also to remove distractions from the front right waves ...

This is a little unusual because it is a composite. I bracketed some shots, of course the moon moves pretty fast so you really can't do a straight composite from bracketing. So I took one with the moon not over exposed and took that moon and edged it over the overexposed moon. I would rather get this type of image in one shot, but the sun had already been down for a while. Then I just thought it was a good candidate for black and white with the contrast.

I've traveled in the last week with little opportunity to shoot and less to post. I did take this one one morning, while I was having breakfast and hoping some birds may come along, no birds but the sun did come up behind the treetops and clouds. The only photo I've posted in the last week plus.
