And another, others say looks 3D: click on it, then click on it again, it looks better on black.

I just discovered this thread, and I really like it. Here are a few from different lenses. All of them acquire more depth when viewed at their larger sizes, so feel free to click through to flickr and view on black.

Sigma 170-500 at f/11

Sigma 30 f/1.4 at f/1.4

Pentax FA 50 f/1.4 at f/1.4

Pentax FA 77 Limeted at f/2.0

And the FA 50 f/1.4 at f/1.4, with ND filter improvised from two circular polarizers

Yeah baby!

Here is an HDR one. Nevermind the halo but if you look at the rock formation up front (my 3D contribution), I swear the clouds move ever so slowly.

Nice examples, everyone. Even though some of them don't have a 3d-look to my eye, they are beautiful shots in their own right. Here's another attempt from me (jet engine from a Boeing 707)

Bruce and paulh's pics above have that 3-d look to them for me. Designphilosophy is close and the portraits certainly have a kind of a pop, but not quite 3-d (I think).

Another 3-d kitten?
