I am enjoying other people's examples of this effect and the differential focus really appeals to me - nearest we can come to 3D stills without the stereoscopes of decades past.

Although posted in a couple of other threads related to lens type this shot of a bridge swallow appeals as there is such limited dof that most of the body and tail are oof making the breast feathers very 3d like (on my monitor at least).
