Thank you. It was rather exciting, and I wasn't sure how high the water would get where I was standing -- I had scoped out the escape route just in case. However, I guessed correctly, and the water only just got to my tripod feet and the spray wasn't at all heavy here. In the photo the heavy flow has just started over the lower falls and the foreground is still quiet. Kayakers would be paddling through here a bit later.

Some very heavy rain today has swelled the local brook to bursting point (it did down stream).

Angel Falls. Scans. Taken from a modest-size plane. The second image shows how a breeze can disperse this tall but narrow falls into mist before the water reaches the bottom. BTW: We took a plane to Canaima the major jump-off to see the falls because Canaima could not be reached on the ground by FWD when we visited.. On foot from Canaima, as I recall, it was a two day hike in-out to the base of the falls, minimum of four days to the top, so flying in to see the falls was the only practical way to go..

Pontook Resevoir dam feeding into the Androscoggin River above Milan, NH. Pulled some nice trout out of these waters.

As you can see my race was over... see top right which was mine, against the lower right winner.

Water sculpture on the campus of a college in southern Indiana.
(Sorry I can't recall the name. It was a very brief visit in 2004.)

Another image from the archive of my old 1 megapixel Kodak DC3200, purchased about 20 years ago.

Several little drops that create some whitewater, hardly worthy of being called "waterfalls," but picturesque. Along one of the trails where we walk regularly.

Excellent work in photographing a natural stream.
