That looks like a limited access waterfall. Take the long shot, don't try for a closer viewpoint.

FYI: Been to and have images of that waterfall, or two falls, although the discharge was much lower (end of the dry season). M went swimming as well (swimming is not my thing)

I searched down two images of that same double waterfall. As you can see, less water, fewer people, but there's still plenty of visual interest.
