I think I hit "like" on every image on the previous page - that says something about the quality of the images, or else just my biases towards images of water.

Thanks for your kind words, I've been offline for a few days and just catching up. I use photography to create souvenirs of what I've seen, so there is always a story behind my photos. Sometimes the story is only of interest to myself, but I like posting on this forum because every once in a while someone else finds it interesting too.

Beaver have dammed this stream to create a small pond and a small waterfall along one of the paths where we walk regularly.

We were there after a wet year with a of snow melt. The Merced River was an amazing and somewhat scary torrent. I'll post images eventually - SCANs sometimes take work to look right.
