One from last weekend (x-post). This is a difficult falls to photograph but I feel like this one worked out well enough.
Most places you can see much of it are either too close or too far. This is one of the too close spots that I overcame with the DA 15.

It's surreal--I like it.

OK, here's a big waterfall - actually several falls each with its own name. If you can spot the tourists about mid-height at the right (not those just above the lowest falls) they can serve as scale.

Three views of the same falls. The third image, cropped from the second, makes it easier to see the walkway behind the falls. The combination of great volumes of mist and strong, shifting wind made it almost impossible to keep water droplets off the lens, and many images are liberally decorated with OOF white blobs.

Called "Hidden Waterfall," the bottom of this cascade is obscured behind a huge rocks, but you can wedge your way in where the water flows out a bit to the side. Problem: the falling water creates a constant out flowing blast of wind that is saturated with mist. The front lens element is coated with moisture before the shutter can be triggered. I went part way in with the camera under a raincoat, then whipped it out, snapped a shot, then tucked camera & lens in, turned my back, wiped the lens dry, and tried again. Second shot below was the best of several.

Iceland. There are thousands of falls. We wouldn't have gotten two miles at a time if we had stopped for all the small ones.

Abiqua Falls

Abiqua Falls in Oregon. Shot using Pentax MX and Velvia 50 slide film, then photographed the slide with my wife's Nikon D5100.

Two shots of another Icelandic waterfall, taken a few moments apart (tripod mounted camera with a Ruggard rain hood). Lots of spray, drizzly rain, and a stiff wind meant one quick shot, then quit.
