Kyle, nice series with a nice ending. I was there a couple years ago, what an awesome waterfall.

This moving water is just a trickle:

Agree - I think this thread has collected some of the most beautiful photos in the shortest time - only 3 days or so?

Nice pictures. I was there 5 years ago but I never saw the 2nd waterfall.

There's a lot of great pictures in this thread. It makes me wish I lived closer to waterfalls.

Wow! love that first shot of Cedar Falls... the people really add perspective. I was digging around in my files and found a few moving water shots I took at Christmas while visiting my son in Niagara Falls. None of the falls though.

Here is the river just before the falls

And here is 16 Mile Creek that runs through Balls Falls, close to Hamilton Ontario

Thanks Tess, I remember waiting a long time to get a shot without people, I got one but I like the ones with people better. Strange thing is the I put the one without people on Wikipedia, and last summer I got an email from a regional publication that published it in print and on the web.

I was at Niagara Falls when I was a kid, I remember how scary that water looks (stiil does) and thought of the idiots that have went over in barrels. 16 Mile Creek is beautiful, well done.

Pewit's Nest State Natural Area is a small park west of Baraboo, Wisconsin. Skillet Creek carves a deep gorge and it has a few waterfalls.
