For something a bit different on this thread, a dolphin making a splash. They seem to do it just for fun.

Mike: That's a really nice image. Beautifully done framing & exposure.

thx so much for your comments. The non-sequitur of my "WPRESTO that's awesome...look at mine", was not intended as it appeared - sorry for that coincidental artifact of my posting a pic after commenting on yours.

I've not posted an image from Iceland for quite a while.

Another Icelandic waterfall. This one is popular, a must-stop for all guided tours (we were driving on our own) especially because there's a path that goes behind the falls. There are a couple tourists wearing orange-red jackets on this walkway that are just visible to the right of the falls right where the dark rock rock meets the green vegetation. As you get close there is dense mist and spray that totally coat a lens instantly upon removal of the lens cap.

Spring breakup on the Battle River

Not a waterfall, but definitely moving water (in both liquid and solid states). One of the few times the Battle River is worthy of being called a river, for most of the year (some years, the entire year) it looks more like a little creek in a big valley.

Yet another Icelandic waterfall. The landscape at this spot is particularly bleak and barren, almost like a human construction site.
