It's been almost two weeks since the last post... This is thread needs to be moving, just like the water Mississippi river in Almonte, Ontario. Taken with K-5, M50 f1.4 and a gold 'n blue polarizer. Love that thing.

Hang tight. Took a few water-cannot-hold-on-a-slope images this morning. Must download and PP out my mistakes before posting.

I guess this could be called a waterfall, but Niagara it is not.

Remember self-similarity over scale changes, though I doubt bubbles would be proportionately large if the drop was as high as Niagara. Refreshing photo to see on this hot day in the Adirondack Mountains. Need to cool off some more...

Some activity at Amethyst Brook, one of two modest streams where we walk Tralee. The glacial boulders make for some splashiness. However, back in mid-January this stream turned into a notable torrent when heavy rain fell on deeply frozen ground and atop about four to six inches of ice that had developed on this stream. I missed going on that day, but I saw the aftermath later. One bridge torn out, which will I post images of in time on some thread.

A little woodland stream in winter. In the midst of a heatwave, I don't mind looking back on these conditions.
