Wow! A stream that flows simultaneously up and down hill, or maybe is flows down hill both ways.

Is there a Bobbie Burns poem or song with a refrain line that goes something like "a wee dram o' 't" ?

One of the most dramatic waterfalls in Iceland, not that others aren't amazing. Can you spot the tourists? Will post a crop that shows them later today.

that's a great lesson on why one needs to include tourists in photos. Turns out they don't only photobomb, they can be useful! What a waterfall!

But not always - I think the Pentax t-shirt should say "it's OK - I can clone you out in Photoshop".

Not particulary interesting as a photo but...

I accompanied my daughter on the drive to her new job in Missouri. It was mostly head-down mileage but I insisted we make a quick side trip to see the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. For a river-rat like me, it's hallowed ground. To justice to it, you'd need a helicopter or drone but I just had to take the photo--I mean, wow!

Looking upstream from the Illinois side:

Super crop:

For anyone who had trouble spotting the tourists, here they are. M & I walked up to that area where they are standing. It's a projection that diverts the flow off to the left as seen from this view. It is not a good place for a photo, as you are too close to get a really good perspective, and if the wind changes, you can be swallowed in mist in an instant.
