Along Gulf Road which climbs steadily but gradually up the same little valley. I think this is called "Gulf Stream." Numerous pretty little rapids such as this but precious few places where there is room to safely pull off the narrow little road.

Thanks for the praise. I am more than willing to bathe in such comments. As to the wave. if you look at the surface of the sea beyond you'll see only modest "chop" that would not merit small craft warnings. The waves break large because the water is deep right offshore, so they aren't slowing by dragging along the bottom for a while before encountering the shore, then they suddenly hit rocks rather than a sandy, gradually sloped beach. A car moving only 10mph should it hit a granite cliff face is totalled.
