I about deleted the image until I realized that the Red Green & Blue hues were created by the refraction or prism effect of the water spray with the sunlight

Glad you saved that image, it is both unique on this thread and mood-capturing.

BTW: Avoid deleting images that didn't turn out correctly, Harass them with saturation and contrast, deflate them with conversion to B&W. apply a filter that obliterates any possibility of identifying the original subject. Then post the result and call it "ART."

More Hawaiian waterfalls. Along the Hana Road some of the waterfalls are directly under one of the 59 bridges (49 of which are one lane, be polite and prudent and yield to an oncoming vehicle that got to the bridge first). BTW: That's 59 bridges in 52 miles, along with 370 curves.Only rarely and only for short stretches is it safe to go over 20mph.

A very brilliant capture sir. So delighted and grateful that you did not trash this amazing image. Many thanks for sharing such an awesome treat.

Other than waterfalls, Hawaii has a really lot of ocean coastline. In the first image there's a little wave washing up onto a rocky platform, In the second image, a deeper crop, the water runs back off the platform to whence it came.

There was no safe place to stand for getting a picture of the entire height of this waterfall without some vegetation in the way, so I tried to make the vegetation part of the composition. Notice the yellow flowers down toward the bottom of the image.

Near a nice waterfall there were these little streams pouring down the rock. We couldn't tell if it were overland flow or seepage of groundwater (= a "spring")

A blowhole erupting an impressive mass of seawater. Imprudent to be peering down the opening just before this event.
