Perhaps rename the thread and request it to be moved if you'd like this thread to become the "Depicting motion" thematic photo thread.

Love the thread idea! This is something I try often but rarely succeed at. Here's a high speed attempt:

OK, I just went ahead and renamed and moved this thread to indicate that it was now a thematic 'post your photos' type thread. Now it really will be a showcase of this technique...

Here's another example, creating somewhat of an abstract effect:

Ash, I was surprised to see your photo, since I took a similar series half a world away. mine were taken of "quaking aspen" trees in a nursery at a wetlands teaching center:

Good thread. Really like Matt's recent submittal on the carousel, the scooter and marching band - well done.

not intentional but I liked the results Taken while riding in the passenger side, heading up thru the Great Smokies Natl Park on a work trip a few years back...
