HD-yarrrrrrrgh.

I may just keep this screwed up sensor on the camera, its not good for much but it makes sunsets absolutely scream.

Hm, I hadn't thought of it that way... But I suppose this is even more in that direction, and not as strongly tonemapped.

I have made many attempts to process this as a single-image HDR image. I feel like the image has defeated me. Those who have a lot of experience with HDR...am I asking too much of my K20D's sensor?

So I decided to give HDR a re-visit recently. I feel when shooting direct into sun it can be quite useful, but certainly a lot longer to process the images into one. Here's one I ended up with.
