Second pass. I hope that's allowed.

You will need to let me know which is your official entry between the two. Otherwise, I will use the first one as your entry.

The first should be my official entry. I just couldn't resist making changes after I saw the first in my browser. Then I couldn't resist upping the new version.

I don't see any banding. Are you referring to the full size JPEG or the Raw file? Maybe I need to upload it again tonight when I get home.

Tim
You may well be red/green colourblind! I am colourblind myself and saw no such banding until I studied that B+W version!

Indeed there is a grand greenish looking band over the image (RAW+JPEG). It's very visible on a calibrated screen.

Good shot for a challenge and a cool stunt... (no complaints, just for the fun of it):

Ok, I finally found it along the treeline. I had to push the brightness on the green channel to make it stand out on my work laptop. I guess that is part of the post processing challenge with this image.

Re-entered: With green bands, made it before the post was updated that the green band was also a part of the processing. (not my final entry: final entry on page 3)

For those wanting to see where the banding is (I can't be the only blind photographer in this forum), here you go.

There is a second band above that one as well. It can be seen in the jeans and top of the rider.
