Woooah, this is amazing and such an honor! Thanks for all the positive comments and special thanks of course to Duplo to host this award and to give away such a high quality lens. I will use it straight this summer on the Russian coast to document our work on permafrost and will show some nice pictures upon return. Duplo, I don't know what to say - thank you very much for your accolades, which, coming from you, mean that much more.

Not sure if you are aware of this, but you were probably the single greatest influence in choosing the K-7 when I first started out with a DSLR. It was your anecdotal evidence regarding the K-7's ruggedness and (at the time) IQ during your trips through Greenland's arctic playground that sold me on the camera system best suited for my lifestyle. I have had absolutely zero regrets, and then when I was able to snag a K-5 for the steal I did, it confirmed to me Pentax was and is the brand for me.
